My take on Dino Thunder

The season opens at the Nexus of Gaia (as seen in Wild Force and Terra Force) where a crack is forming in the ground. From the crack would emerge the white Dino Thunder Ranger. He would summon his zord and destroy the Nexus. In the city of Stone Canyon, 3 dinosaur statues (well, technically 2 dinosaur and 1 pterosaur but even so) would begin to glow at a museum. 3 young adults (Ethan, Kira, and Conner) would approach the statues, because few things are as curious and dumb as people in their early 20s. A worker would warn them to step back but they'd touch the statues. They and the statues would all teleport to some sort of cave. They'd meet a mysterious man named Aba. He says that one of Earth's first Power Rangers was once imprisoned deep beneath the Nexus of Gaia, but has gotten out. His escape triggered the awakening of the zords of the 3 rangers he killed. They ask him how he knows all of this and he just says that he's resourceful and that there's nothing to wo...

My take on Ninja Storm

It is revealed that after leaving at the beginning of Turbo, Adam and Aisha went to Ninjor's temple to find a way to resurrect Rocky. They managed to do it by combining their Zeo powers and an ancient artifact in the temple. After this, the three of them worked to develop a team of ninjetti warriors. Fast forward 6 years: Ninjor's temple has been turned into an academy for ninjetti warriors. Unfortunately, the academy is attacked by Ninjor's brother, Zurgain (he'd probably have a different name but even so.) Zurgain will reveal that he has spent millenia building an army to kill Ninjor, after Ninjor allegedly stole his birthright from him. He would claim that he was supposed to be the temple guardian and priest. Since Rocky killed Ninjor, and this denied Zurgain his vengeance, Zurgain takes Rocky prisoner. Adam and Aisha help a few surviving students to a hidden room in the temple where three special power coins are. They give them to their three best students and plan...

Worst. Suicide Watch. Ever.

Image
Sometimes you just need to be suicidal for a bit, so you can calm down later. That may sound crazy to you, if you've never been suicidal. However, I just got home from being on suicide watch at the ER. Well, I say "suicide watch" but it was more "suicide ignore". Saint Bernadine's hospital in San Bernardino are the worst. You see, I was suicidal. (I was depressed Capitalism has prevented loved ones from having any time for me, so I figured that I'm irrelevant.) I called my therapist. He told my dad to take me to the ER. They took me to the area with the beds and curtains. They sat me there, alone. After getting to the point where my frustration was overcoming my depression, I walked out. Like literally just walked out. They didn't have the door locked or anything. Security and some other workers followed me and I just stood out on the sidewalk chatting with cops and security until my dad came to pick me back up. What if I had just walked into traffi...

Jacob Marley

Marley was dead, to begin with. Seven years to the day, for sure. In that time, his spirit had wandered about, fettered by its chain and weights, longing for the ability to enact the tiniest bit of charity upon the people he once bitterly walked by. He could watch but never interfere. That is, until the 7th anniversary of his death.  When the clock struck midnight on this day, his spirit was called forth to an ethereal judicial bench in an otherwise empty room. At the bench, a spirit suddenly appeared. Its right side was pure white and its left pure black, though that seemed to shift back and forth every few moments. "Jacob Marley?" The spirit said in a booming and yet soft voice "Yuh...yes?" Jacob said, trembling "I am called the Arbiter. I make decisions for appeals, disputes, and the like in the spiritual world. Do you know why you are here?" Jacob shook his head "I wish I could say that I did." The Arbiter continued you "Your constant a...

How I'd do Wild Force

The story begins at the location where the Terra Force Rangers had died. Someone stands among the dust of the fallen warriors, and sends out energy to the dust, creating several orbs. The orbs all vanish in a flash of light. 5 individuals are seen receiving orbs (one each). A radical environmentalist (Taylor), a park ranger (Danny), a veterinarian (Alyssa), a marine life conservationist (Max), and an urban wildlife relocation specialist (Cole). The five would hear a voice that tells them to meet up at a specific location. They arrive at the Nexus of Gaia (seen in my Terra Force post) and meet what looks to be a child but is really an ancient god, named Animus. Animus is the god of all animals. He's one of the children of Gaia, the goddess of Earth. He says that the 5 have been chosen to be his champions in a battle against the Orgs, evil creatures that are created from pollution, both natural and man-made. The Orgs have recently seen a surge in activity, since a prophecy of the re...

My Take on Power Rangers: Time Force

The season opens in the year 3000, at Time Force HQ. Some new recruits are being told (by Jen) the history of Time Force. Basically, Time Force's origins date back to Lightspeed Rescue. Lightspeed Rescue protected the planet and continued to develop new technology. Eventually, they developed three new branches. One branch policed extra-terrestrial activity. One policed inter-dimensional activity. One policed time travel.....and that was Time Force. Time Force has five Power Rangers (well, usually....right now they only have one). Each one is the descendant of former rangers. The morphers cannot be activated without DNA that has the morphing grid signature. The recruits are dismissed and Jen begins to walk out of the room. She is stopped by Alex who tells her not to look so annoyed. She tells him that she signed up for the job so that she could be a police officer and not just someone who gives routine lectures. Alex kisses her cheek and they go to a restaurant. While eating, they ...

My Take on Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue

The season begins with a few veteran rangers working in what looks to be a military base. Suddenly, there is an alarm. An image of batlings attacking the city would appear on a screen. Jason rushes into the room and tells them to activate Operation Lightspeed. Soldiers are deployed to the city. Meanwhile, men in black suits show up at a firehouse, an ER, a Naval Base, an Air Force Base, and a local FEMA headquarters. Soon, five people are escorted into the base and left with Jason. Jason informs them that they have been selected, out of many candidates, to be the new Power Rangers. They get their morphers and go into battle. The following five episodes would give back-story to the rangers. Carter (who would have a more demanding presence) is a firefighter who has gotten many awards for his service. He saved some diplomats from a burning building and even used a firehose to take out some criminals, while the police were on their way. ((Those things are VERY powerful, afterall.)) Da...
