My take on Ninja Storm

 It is revealed that after leaving at the beginning of Turbo, Adam and Aisha went to Ninjor's temple to find a way to resurrect Rocky. They managed to do it by combining their Zeo powers and an ancient artifact in the temple. After this, the three of them worked to develop a team of ninjetti warriors.

Fast forward 6 years: Ninjor's temple has been turned into an academy for ninjetti warriors. Unfortunately, the academy is attacked by Ninjor's brother, Zurgain (he'd probably have a different name but even so.) Zurgain will reveal that he has spent millenia building an army to kill Ninjor, after Ninjor allegedly stole his birthright from him. He would claim that he was supposed to be the temple guardian and priest. Since Rocky killed Ninjor, and this denied Zurgain his vengeance, Zurgain takes Rocky prisoner.

Adam and Aisha help a few surviving students to a hidden room in the temple where three special power coins are. They give them to their three best students and plan to rescue Rocky. The students are Tori, Shane, and Dustin.

In a flashback episode, we see that the three of them have been best friends since they were in Angel Grove Elementary, during the events of Mighty Morphin. The Power Rangers inspired them to be their best selves. So, when they were teenagers and got the opportunity to train in the temple, they were more-than up to the task.

After seeing their backstory, the plot would move forward with them becoming rangers. Their first mission would be to spy on Zurgain's headquarters. They would see that Rocky is hooked to some sort of machine and seems to be weak. When the rangers report back to Adam and Aisha and are followed by Zurgain's army, lead by a monster. A battle ensues and ends in a Megazord defeating the monster.

Adam and Aisha need more info about the machine Rocky is connected to, but are afraid to send the rangers back behind enemy lines. The two oldest students, college-age guys named Hunter and Blake, step up and insist on going. They know that the rangers are an asset and are willing to sacrifice their own lives if they have to. They go.

Blake and Hunter manage to get into Zurgain's base and figure out that Rocky is being drained of all of the power that was used to resurrect him, and will soon turn into nothing but a spirit. The two realize, too late, that they were allowed to get in there on purpose. Zurgain's soldiers take Hunter and Blake.

The rangers continue to face battle after battle until they eventually meet the Crimson and Navy rangers on the battlefield. They're too much to handle and so Adam and Aisha join the fight. Crimson and Navy are beaten and demorph on the battlefield, revealing Hunter and Blake. They retreat.

There would be a whole arc where they try to figure out how to get Hunter and Blake out of Zurgain's control. They manage to do it by binding them and swapping out the coins on their Morphers with new coins. The new coins break the spell. When Hunter and Blake are good again, they explain that their powers were created by Zurgain draining everything from Rocky and that Rocky is now a spirit. They say that his spirit is trapped at Zurgain's base in some sort of holding veasel.

Adam and Aisha have an idea. There's an ancient artifact that can capture a spirit and give it a solid form. If they can get it to Rocky then he can escape. All 5 rangers go on the mission to do it. They succeed in getting Rocky into the artifact. When they doz he transforms into the new Green Ranger. The suit is the only body he has, now.

Zurgain uses the magic from an ancient scroll to resurrect his fallen soldiers and make one last attack on the temple. The temple is overwhelmed but Adam and Aisha have an idea. They remember that Zordon told them that any powers added to their own could kill them, given that the Zeo powers were meant to be the final evolution of ranger powers. The create new power coinsz power up with their Zeo powersz and attack Zurgain, while the rangers distract his best soldiers with their Megazords.

Adam and Aisha grab Zurgain and power up their power coinsz exploding in the process. Zurgain dies and his forces retreat. Adam and Aisha lay almost dead, and are taken to get care. The rangers and the rest of the surviving students work to rebuild as much as they can.

When Adam and Aisha recover, they and Rocky hold a ceremony to bestow the 5 rangers with the roll of instructor at the academy. The show ends with them training new students.
