My Take on Power Rangers: In Space

The season would begin a few months after Turbo. The rangers would still be in the shuttle, and so they would be a little on edge.......especially since they have no idea how to fly the thing and are relying on a special auto-pilot device that they got from Alpha, before the command center was destroyed. They would stumble upon the Astro-Megaship, which would draw them in. Meanwhile, Andros would be at a United Alliance of Evil celebration. General Havoc would be praised, since he would be the ruler of Earth. Dark Spectre would show up and thank him for bringing Zordon to him. He would tell General Havoc that the celebration is over, and then he would kill him. With General Havoc dead, Dark Spectre would appoint Astronema as the ruler of Earth.

Andros, who has spent a while disguised as a villain, tries to sneak away. He is spotted and pointed out to be a traitor. There would be a little fight, but he would escape. The following bit would be pretty much the same as the show. Andros would meet the rangers, not trust them, but eventually give them the morphers. Andros would tell them of what has happened to Earth. While the rangers want to try to save Earth, they know that Zordon is their only hope to truly save it.

The story would continue with Andros hinting at the sub-plot of wanting to find his sister. During this, he would meet Darkonda. Darkonda would reveal to him that he was the one who killed his parents and took his sister. Darkonda would be portrayed as even more psychotic than in the actual show. He would devour the hearts of his victims, and take whatever power that they have. It would also be revealed that he was in a military academy with Ecliptor, but was kicked out for decapitating his CO (just because he felt like it). Darkonda would beat Ashley in battle and cause her to demorph. As he continues to attack her, Andros would stop him. Darkonda would disappear before he can be killed, though. By saving Ashley, Andros would be the focus of her romantic life (which would become a sub-plot).

Astronema would see that the rangers defeated Darkonda (who she secretly hired to kill them), and so she would create rangers of her own. The Psycho Rangers would be absolutely disturbing. Their story arc would be a sort of horror story. There would be some scenes of torture, actually. Anyway, they would come close to destroying the rangers. They would be stopped by Zhane, who would fly in. Instead of being in a coma on the ship, he would have been in a coma on KO-35.

Zhane would eventually tell the rangers the story of the other KO-35 rangers. He would tell them about how they sacrificed their lives to save their planet. Zhane would also bring Andros the battleizer. He would inform him that the Megavoyager is almost completely fixed and that the rebels have sent the Delta Megaship (which they were given by Zordon) to aid them, until the Megavoyager was ready.

Andros would eventually discover that Astronema is his sister. This would lead him and Zhane on the kind of Han/Luke style mission that they did, in the actual show. At the end of the mission, Andros would see that his sister is no more, though he refuses to believe it.

After some filler episodes that deal with getting the megavoyager and stuff like that, the final war would begin. Zordon would be found. He would tell the rangers to leave him and save Earth. They go back to Earth and begin to fight evil. The Zeo Rangers join them, discovering that the Zeo powers left their enhanced strength, speed, and agility in their systems. The battle would be huge. Near the end of the battle, Jason would join Andros on a secret mission to save Zordon. During the mission, Andros is forced to kill his sister. This causes Ecliptor to go insane and almost kill Andros. Ecliptor is stopped, when Darkonda stabs him through the back and into the heart. Darkonda and Andros would have a final battle, which would lead Andros to fly him into space (while using his battleizer). Darkonda would be on top of Andros' wings and Andros would detach them and then blast them, causing them to blow up and kill Darkonda. Andros would start to fall onto a giant asteroid of some sort. His communications would be down, so he would not be able to call his galaxy glider, or any help.

Meanwhile, Zordon tells Jason to destroy his tube (because Jason has known him the longest, so it's only right for him to be the one to kill Zordon). After much hesitation, Jason does it. The wave kills all of the evil and over-powers the ranger powers, causing them to cease (including the Zeo powers that were still in the rangers' systems).

The season would end with Andros looking up and seeing the Machine Empire ruins, as well as hearing an evil laugh.
