Day 6 - October 2 (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!) I woke up and had time to kill before meeting a dear friend of mine and his family. It's the day between two hikes. So, what did I do? I went for a walk. The walk ended up lasting 5 hours and covered almost everything in Reykjavik that I wanted to see. I started with walking down Laugavegur, which is a long street that's lined with stores and restaurants. I did some souvenir shopping. I decided that I may as well walk to the Saga Museum, so I did. I went there and did the tour. I listened to an audio guide, as I walked through lifelike/life-sized dioramas about the history of Iceland's first people. It was really interesting and informative. After that, I decided to walk toward Hallgrimskirkja (the big church in many Reykjavik pictures), since it's a sort of central point in downtown. On my way there, I stopped by the Settlement Exhibit. However, even being attracted to SOME guys means I'm not straight. I've looked at the terms of bi and pan and settled on bi as my term. So yeah...I'm not just bipolar, I'm also bisexual. I don't feel like I'm part of an oppressed community, but maybe the oppression is ...

So, instead of typing out paragraphs, I'm gonna make a list of big things that happened. • Went to the worst suicide watch EVER • Went to a taping of After Midnight • Found out that my aunt's body was found and buried in 1985 and that, just as we suspected, she was murdered by a serial killer and may have potentially been a victim of human trafficking • Went to Wondercon • Went to a Ducks game • Went to Comic Con Revolution and met the voice of the Clones from the various Star Wars animated series • Went to my first LAFC match, which happened to be Pride night. So I saw my dad as the wonderful ally he truly is as I watched an after-match celebration of Pride play out on the field • Went to a Dodgers game and got to hang with a good friend of mine and meet her new boyfriend • Saw Kaleo in concert • Saw Collective Soul and Hootie and the Blowfish in concert (the former was excellent and the latter sucked. • Made some new friends who l...
