My Take on Power Rangers: Zeo

 

With the Ninjetti Powers gone and Rocky and Ninjor dead, the rangers are devistated as they see the Machine Empire attack Earth. Soon, the rangers are teleported to the Command center. While there, Zordon informs them that the Zeo Crystal is the oldest power source for the Power Rangers. He tells them that he was once a ranger who used them as a power source. Then he gives them their powers. They are left without a red ranger, but go to battle anyway.

During their first fight, they are overwhelmed but are saved by a red ranger. After the fight, he reveals himself to be Jason. Jason leads the team against the machines. There would be several character building episodes for the heroes AND villains. One thing that would be done is that Adam and Aisha would become a couple (because they would be amazing together). Also, the rangers realize that the Zeo powers are growing. They are faster, stronger, more agile, and more durable when they are unmorphed. This enrages King Mondo and he is forced to up his game.

When Kind Mondo sends an army of machines who are armored with neo-plutonium, the rangers are overwhelmed. Thus: Aisha and Adam are sent on a quest to find the missing key and idol of Auric the Conqueror. When they find the key and idol, Auric is freed from his inprisonment and helps the rangers.

After this battle, Auric informs them that he can no longer fight. Being inprisoned for thousands of years has left him weak. He gives Zordon the key and says that they can use it to find more help. He tells them that he must leave. When they ask him where he is going, he says that he is going to see his brother...ninjor. Then: he turns to a shimmering dust and floats away.

The rangers are curious about how to find help with the key and Zordon informs him that the key is another ancient source of ranger power. He tells them that help will be on the way, shortly.

During their next intense battle, the rangers are helped by the gold ranger. The gold ranger does not speak and disappears after every battle. He helps them for several battles before he reveals himself. However, before the reveal is done, Zordon informs the rangers that the reason he did not demorph is because he was severely injured and the suit had to help keep him alive until he was completely healed.

The gold ranger is revealed to be Tommy. Apparently, Ninjor found Tommy and brought him to Zordon, before he could die. Zordon put him in the medical bay and held him there until he had a strong enough power source to help him. Tommy, being too stubborn to run away from a fight, insisted that he morph and let the suit heal him. Tommy reveals that he found something in the chasm, before collapsing. He hands the rangers the super Zeo gems. Thus: the super Zeo zords arrive.

Tommy informs Jason that he is not there to take over as leader again. He's not strong enough to do so, and that Jason deserves it because he lead the team through so much.

After several more battles, Kind Mondo is killed by Prince Gasket. Gasket takes a final stand against the rangers (making his empire and family believe that the rangers killed Mondo). The machine empire is defeated by the rangers, whose powers have increased to the point where they can become megazord size.

The season ends with the empire in ruins.
